S.E.M.V.M.A. Annual Veterinary Technician Scholarship

The Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association wishes to acknowledge second-year veterinary technician students with scholarships. The first-place winner will be awarded $1,000 plus free technician CE for the 2027/2028 SEMVMA CE series. The second-place winner will be awarded $500 plus free technician CE for the 2027/2028 SEMVMA CE series. The third-place winner will receive $250 plus free technician CE for the 2027/2028 SEMVMA CE series.

Applicants should choose 3 of the 6 prompts below and will be judged based on their answers. Entries will be judged on content and grammar. The SEMVMA Scholarship Committee reserves the right to disqualify a submission if grammatical errors are too great or if the content is not appropriate. If there are no qualified submissions, the SEMVMA reserves the right to forgo awarding any scholarships. The scholarship winner must be in good standing with their school technician program. The SEMVMA office must receive applications by December 1, 2026. The recipients will be honored at the SEMVMA Membership Celebration dinner held on January 8, 2027.
